Eastern Capital Fund Ltd is registered as a public mutual fund under the Mutual Funds Act, 1996 (No. 6 of 1996) of the British Virgin Islands under certificate number PU00/139. The fund is open-ended in structure; shareholders may subscribe to and redeem shares on a monthly basis.

The principal objective is to generate long term capital growth, while seeking to minimise risk, by investing in equities of leading Russian companies which appear undervalued compared to the intrinsic value of their assets.

Connor Asset Management Ltd acts as the Fund manager while ING Bank (Eurasia), Moscow, is the custodian; Midocean Management and Trust Services (BVI) Ltd., Tortola, British Virgin Islands are the Administrators and Deloitte & Touche SA, L-8009 Strassen the auditors.

Valuations are published monthly based on the net asset value ("NAV") calculated on the last day of each month.
